Job summary

Apptronik Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Designer to define workflows and end-to-end experiences for humanoid robots.

You will unpack complex real-world scenarios, partner with Product, Industrial Design, Research, and Engineering, and translate needs into human-centered experiences across deployment, onboarding, servicing, and training. Ideal candidates bring systems thinking, service design, and strong collaboration skills to shape trust, clarity, and robot legibility in evolving

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in UX design, service design, workflow design, or related disciplines.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and workflow architecture across complex environments.
• Experience designing end-to-end workflows involving physical products and multi-touchpoint experiences.
• Ability to think about user mental models, onboarding, trust, and operational usability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience guiding ambiguity to define structure within evolving problem spaces.

Responsibilities

• Define operational workflows and end-to-end user experiences for humanoid robot deployment and use.
• Design and map user journeys, interaction flows, and workflow concepts across touchpoints.
• Collaborate with Product, Industrial Design, Research, and Engineering to shape experiences.
• Create workflow maps, storyboards, behavioral definitions, prototypes, and future-state concepts.
• Support research efforts by identifying workflow assumptions and risks.
• Work with UX Research to understand user behaviors across deployment and usage scenarios.
• Operate in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve with robotic maturity.
• Travel up to 10% to participate in research at customer sites.
