Job summary
Bloomberg is seeking an experienced UX Designer to drive ideation and execution for the BQuant platform, blending strategic and detailed design work across programmatic and graphical interfaces.
You will lead research, shape user experiences across product surfaces, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to deliver compelling, scalable solutions for financial professionals.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in HCI, interaction design, information architecture, visual communication, or related field.
- 4+ years experience in user research, complex workflows, service and product design, interaction, UI/visual design, and prototyping.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and IDE concepts and challenges.
- Track record applying user-centered research and design practices to solve problems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Curiosity to research best practices in HCI/UX and apply them broadly across products.
Responsibilities
- Help drive early ideation and eventual execution of BQuant enhancements.
- Address a wide range of user problems from compute usage to API design and publishing workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement design concepts and shape long-term product vision.
