Job summary

Google is hiring an Interaction Designer to transform complex tasks into intuitive experiences across native apps. You will create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes within a multi-disciplinary UX team, shaping the Google design language and foundational elements of SDS and App Foundations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience designing for native app-first experiences (iOS, Android).
• Experience contributing to mature design systems including component design, documentation, and education.
• Include a portfolio, website, or relevant link in resume.

Responsibilities

• Create and extend interaction patterns and durable design frameworks.
• Partner with product areas to advocate for SDS and App Foundations; collaborate across teams.
• Identify emerging needs and contribute to interaction pattern documentation.
• Lead or contribute to key projects with systems-thinking and user advocacy.
• Foster a system-wide design mindset and help shape the future of design systems at Search and Google.
