Job summary

Aderant is seeking a Senior UX Designer to craft intelligent user experiences and information architecture for Stridyn across desktop and mobile. You’ll pair visual design with practical prototyping, drawing on user research and analytics to validate ideas quickly in collaborative, agile sprints.

You’ll work in a cross-functional pod with product and engineering, contribute to design systems, and help evolve DesignOps while delivering polished interfaces that scale across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of user experience/product design work.
• Experience with AI-native design workflows.
• Product design experience in enterprise/cloud-based apps.
• Strong prototyping skills and ability to move fast in a team.
• Ability to document and annotate design work clearly.
• Familiarity with design systems and tokens.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross-functional pod with design, PM, and engineers on 1–2 week sprint cycles.
• Partner with PM through Research & Discovery to scope problems.
• Conduct upstream thinking in Cowork and distill into strategic summaries.
• Design all states (empty, loading, error, edge cases).
• Iterate through validation with client feedback and engineering readiness.
• Produce validated Claude Design prototype with documentation and rationale.
• Build with design system components and extend DesignOps tooling.
• Conceptually design information architecture and UX flows for complex data structures.
• Support engineering through build and QA to ensure a correct ship.
• Present decisions clearly to partners and track work in team tools.
