HCA is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead design strategy and execution for multiple healthcare products within the Clinical and Colleague Product Design Team. You will translate complex requirements into scalable, production-ready experiences using human-centered design principles and close engineering collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design for multiple products in a portfolio, owning design strategy and deliverables.
• Plan and facilitate user research and testing (user interviews, A/B testing, usability testing, surveys, analytics) and document findings (journeys, personas, information architecture, service blueprints).
• Produce deliverables including user flows, wireframes, visual designs, interactive and motion prototypes, and annotated specifications.
• Use judgment to choose appropriate fidelity (sketches, AI-assisted proofs-of-concept, or fully refined specs) and prioritize durable, maintainable solutions.
• Apply and contribute to the HCA design system (Neutron), improving adoption and pattern quality.
• Collaborate deeply with front-end engineers; ensure designs align with component-based development and modern frameworks.
• Drive strategy conversations with product and engineering partners, foster UX-centric culture, and mentor junior designers.

Technical & Tool Experience

• Figma suite: Figma Design, FigJam, Figma Make.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and implementation models: React, Vue, Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with AI-assisted design and code-authoring tools (examples cited: Copilot, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, Replit, v0, Lovable).
• Working with a production design system (HCA’s Neutron) and component-based development practices.
