McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking a Utility Locator III in Pensacola, FL to oversee field crew operations, collect field data, and deliver accurate results to the office. The role requires strong problem solving, reliability, and adherence to safety standards in varied terrains.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in utility locating with SUE, proficiency in SUE equipment, total stations, and GPS, plus vacuum excavation experience. Valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years' progressive experience in Utility Locating with SUE field operations.
• Proficiency with SUE locating equipment, total stations and GPS.
• Experience with vacuum excavation equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Utility Location and SUE field crew.
• Lead with quality, safety, schedules, within budgets, and client service.
• Use SUE field equipment and safety protocols to collect and deliver data.
• Organize field work and direct crew members; maintain records of work and expenses.
• Some overnight travel will be required.
• Walk extensively outdoors in various conditions.
