Job summary

STV Inc. is recruiting a Utility Coordination Group Leader for offices in Rock Hill, Charleston and/or Columbia, SC.

You will lead and oversee utility coordination and relocations for SCDOT projects, guiding junior coordinators and technicians while preparing quality deliverables on multiple projects. As Project Manager on UC projects, you will develop relocation strategies, coordinate with DOTs and utility owners, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Qualifications

8 years of related experience or related field of study.
Proficiency in MicroStation and ProjectWise.
Associate degree required; relevant 3D tools experience preferred.
Experience with 3D ORD and clash detection is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and train staff to independently perform various UC tasks on multiple projects.
Serve as Project Manager on UC projects.
Develop utility relocation strategies and coordinate releases.
Oversee a SC-based UC group operations, scheduling utility meetings with SCDOT/NCDOT, owners, and contractors.
Prepare meeting agendas and minutes; distribute promptly.
Review utility relocation sketches against SCDOT/NCDOT manuals; ensure QA/QC.
Assist senior leaders with proposal development, scopes, and fee preparation.
