Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years of experience in construction inspection.
• Strong Math Skills; HS Diploma or higher.
• MS Word and Excel skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe, inspect, and document utility work to determine progress and quality.
• Attend utility/construction conferences and meetings; make notes for weekly report.
• Ensure compliance with department specifications, provisions, and safety practices.
• Assign qualified personnel to the project and monitor performance.
• Notify immediately of unanticipated project conditions and halt work if needed.
• Prepare and deliver as-built/record plans for each utility.
• Maintain project diaries, inspector reports, and relevant records.
