Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years of experience in construction inspection.
Strong Math Skills; HS Diploma or higher.
MS Word and Excel skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

Observe, inspect, and document utility work to determine progress and quality.
Attend utility/construction conferences and meetings; make notes for weekly report.
Ensure compliance with department specifications, provisions, and safety practices.
Assign qualified personnel to the project and monitor performance.
Notify immediately of unanticipated project conditions and halt work if needed.
Prepare and deliver as-built/record plans for each utility.
Maintain project diaries, inspector reports, and relevant records.
