Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Utility Asset Management Project Manager to lead planning, assessment, design, rehabilitation, and management of water and wastewater systems in the East region.

The role combines project management and technical leadership, overseeing client relations, project delivery, business development support, and mentoring of junior staff. Strong expertise in conveyance infrastructure and capital planning is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of progressive infrastructure experience.
Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
At least 8 years developing and implementing utility asset management programs.
Experience with conveyance system planning, assessment, rehabilitation, and CIP.
Experience in managing project financials and client relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from planning through construction.
Serve as Project Manager for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk objectives.
Develop project execution plans, work plans, schedules, and staffing forecasts.
Monitor project financial performance including budgets, utilization, revenue forecasting, and profitability.
Coordinate stakeholders and facilitate project meetings; ensure QA/QC per procedures.
Mentor junior staff and promote continuous improvement in delivery practices.
