Job summary

Atlas Field Services is seeking a Consulting Utility Arborist to provide field oversight across client service territories, focusing on Tree Risk Assessment and hazard tree programs, as well as other vegetation management initiatives. The role requires field work, safety compliance, and coordination with contractors and landowners.

The ideal candidate has a practical UVM background, 3–5 years of experience, and strong communication and maps skills; ISA TRAQ/ARB preferred but not required,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Ability to work independently across varied terrain and programs.
• Strong tree identification and map-reading skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; problem-solving; multitasking.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight of the Tree Risk Assessment program and hazard tree planners.
• Oversee Distribution, Transmission and other Fuel Management programs.
• Conduct contractor safety observations and workforce audits.
• Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, landowners and the public.
• Perform emergency response duties per safety requirements.
• Document vegetation management program data and support process improvements.
