Job summary

Atlas Field Services seeks a seasoned Consulting Utility Arborist to provide field oversight across utility vegetation programs. You will apply hands-on UVM experience to guide hazard assessments, trimming planning, and safety compliance while working with contractor crews in diverse terrain.

You must read maps, identify trees, communicate clearly with clients, and adapt to variable schedules. Travel across the service area is required; strong field judgment and technology skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of UVM experience; 5+ years preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist designation and TRAQ are preferred but not required.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight of the Tree Risk Assessment program implementation.
• Oversee hazard tree planners and supplemental programs.
• Oversee Distribution, Transmission and other Fuel Management programs.
• Conduct contractor safety observations and work audits.
• Support capital project management and cost estimation for non-routine vegetation tasks.
• Promote user adoption of technology within the contract workforce.
