Atlas Field Services in Texas is seeking a Consulting Utility Arborist with hands-on UVM field experience to oversee multiple vegetation management programs across diverse terrain. The role emphasizes field judgment, contractor safety, and practical problem-solving on site.

You will read maps, identify trees, and communicate with clients and landowners while supporting data validation, cost estimation, and program improvements within utility vegetation management projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years UVM experience; 5+ years preferred.
• ISA Arborist designation and TRAQ preferred but not required.
• Bilingual ability preferred.
• Must be able to read maps and identify trees.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight of the Tree Risk Assessment program implementation.
• Oversee hazard tree planners and supplemental programs.
• Field oversight of Distribution, Transmission and other Fuel Management programs.
• Conduct contractor safety observations and workforce audits.
• Assist with emergency response and client communications.
• Document information related to the vegetation management program and improve processes.
