Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Utilities Scheduler to support EPC energy projects from a Pennsylvania base. The role is full-time, direct-hire with a hybrid schedule at a major utility office, focusing on transmission, distribution, and substations.

You will manage schedules, baselines, and forecast dates while coordinating with multiple teams. 8–10 years of scheduling experience, Primavera P6 expertise, and strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of scheduling experience in power/utilities/EPC/construction industries.
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 is required.
• Experience with transmission, distribution, substation, or utility projects preferred.
• Understanding of critical path, baseline management, and forecast accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field preferred.
• PMP, PMI-SP, or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish baselines, track progress, and forecast completion dates.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, construction, and utility stakeholders.
• Monitor critical path, identify schedule risks, and communicate delays.
• Analyze schedule variances and develop recovery plans for on-time delivery.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities into schedules.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and milestone updates.
• Support project controls, resource planning, change management, and risk mitigation.
