Job summary

World Wide Professional Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Utilities Electrical to lead the utility electrical infrastructure for a large data center project in Vernon, TX. This onsite, full-time role directs design through energization and closeout, coordinating with utilities, EPCs, engineers, and vendors.

The candidate will oversee high/medium voltage substation work, relay coordination, protection schemes, QA/QC, and commissioning readiness, with a focus on safety and on-time

Qualifications

• 12–20+ years in construction PM with electrical infra responsibility.
• Experience delivering utility substations and high/medium-voltage systems.
• Ability to read single line diagrams, substation layouts, and protection drawings.
• Proven leadership of contractors, utilities, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with QA/QC, commissioning, turnover, energization planning, and safe energized work.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of utility electrical scope from design through energization.
• Serve as owner’s rep interfacing with utilities, EPCs, engineers and vendors.
• Manage HV substations, switchyards, transformers, switchgear, grounding and cabling.
• Drive interconnection milestones, design approvals, and long-lead equipment procurement.
• Review SLDs, protection schemes, relay coordination and construction packages.
• Oversee protection/controls, SCADA, telecom, metering interfaces.
• Coordinate HV/MV cable installations, terminations, and testing.
• Lead commissioning readiness and energization documentation.
• Develop safe energization, switching, LOTO, and turnover plans.
