Job summary

Kizer Energy seeks an experienced Utilities CSU Lead to drive the completions and commissioning of all balance-of-plant utility systems for a hyperscale data center campus in Texas. You will own the end-to-end process from MC through FO, coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical, DCS, and Commissioning teams to meet schedule, safety, and compliance objectives.

The role requires 8–12+ years in commissioning utility systems, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of air, water, drains, and fire

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil/Environmental, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of commissioning balance-of-plant utility systems experience.
• Direct experience with instrument/plant air, potable water, oily water drains, temporary utilities, and outside-building firewater.
• Experience coordinating utility tie-ins with turbines or major equipment.
• OSHA 10/30 certification required; NICET/NFPA25 credentials or environmental credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead completions and commissioning of site utility systems.
• Validate air quality, pressure, and leak testing for air systems.
• Oversee potable water treatment, storage, and distribution; validate water quality and backflow prevention.
• Coordinate turbine utility tie-ins with commissioning milestones.
• Oversee temporary utilities supporting construction and commissioning; ensure safe operation and tie-ins.
• Maintain turnover packages and QA/QC documentation; ensure audit-ready files.
• Report commissioning progress and elevate risks to ensure on-time turnover.
