Job summary

Kizer Energy seeks an experienced Mechanical Rotating & Static CSU Lead to support the Project (PowerCo and DataCo scopes) in Texas. You will lead all mechanical completions, startup, and commissioning activities for rotating and static equipment supporting power generation systems, ensuring OSHA safety and client compliance.

As the CSU Lead, you will coordinate with OEMs and vendors, manage testing and verification, review ITPs/FATs/SATs, and deliver fully operational systems ready for transfer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 8-12+ years in mechanical commissioning, mechanical completions, rotating equipment maintenance, or startup activities on industrial, power generation, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Proven experience with generators, turbines, compressors, pumps, and static mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrated experience leading commissioning teams and coordinating multidisciplinary project interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the completion, startup, and commissioning of rotating and static mechanical systems across power generation equipment.
• Coordinate with OEMs and equipment vendors to support installation verification and startup activities.
• Review vendor documentation (ITPs, FATs, SATs) and commissioning procedures for compliance and readiness.
• Oversee testing, vibration analysis, lubrication, alignment, and turnover documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, commissioning, electrical, and automation teams to achieve milestones.
