Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to translate complex business requirements into cohesive, end-to-end user experiences. You will document how the application works and drive designs from low- to high-fidelity for an enterprise, workflow-driven environment.

Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and developers to ensure seamless user journeys across administrative and end-user workflows.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of UI/UX design or related field
  • Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience; Master's for 6 years
  • TS/SCI with active CI Polygraph
  • Experience documenting user workflows and translating them into wireframes and final UI designs
  • Ability to design complete interconnected experiences, including administrative functionality and end-user workflows
  • Comfortable with low- to high-fidelity designs and stakeholder approval
  • Experience designing complex, workflow-driven enterprise applications
  • Proficient in Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop on NIPR

Job description

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be providing critical workflow-driven designs to an eco-system of big data apps, in a collaborative environment.

Candidates must be able to understand and document how the application works, then carry that understanding consistently through to the final approved designs with a goal to minimize gaps that would otherwise require developers to make independent UX decisions during implementation.

Candidates must be able to translate complex business requirements into cohesive, end-to-end user experiences, working closely with product owners, stakeholders, and developers.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

  • 18 years of UI/UX Design or UI/UX Development experience or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
  • A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with active CI Polygraph
  • Experience documenting user workflows and translating them into wireframes and final UI designs.
  • Ability to design complete, interconnected experiences, including administrative functionality and end-user workflows.
  • Comfortable working from low-fidelity concepts through high-fidelity, stakeholder-approved designs.
  • Experience designing complex, workflow-driven enterprise applications.
  • Proficient in Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop on NIPR.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Styling: Experience implementing SCSS/SASS and micro-animations for user feedback.
  • Back-end Awareness: Experience with Java Web, NodeJS, or AWS environments.
  • Agile/DevOps: Experience managing code via GitLab and working in an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Real-time Data: Experience using Web Sockets for live data updates.

Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized (minimum 2-3 days onsite)

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$184,000 - $237,600
