Job summary

Jobility Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior UX Designer for a leading education and technology organization. You will own user-centered design across web and mobile, shaping AI-enabled experiences, and collaborating with product managers, researchers, engineers, and leadership.

You’ll translate user research and business requirements into intuitive interfaces, drive design systems, accessibility, and visual storytelling, and guide multiple initiatives in an Agile environment with onshore US

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX/Product Design experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer with a strong background in user-centered design, product development, and AI-enabled product experiences.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging web and mobile experiences. This individual will collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate user research and business requirements into effective design solutions.

The role requires strong visual communication, interaction design, prototyping, and stakeholder presentation skills, along with the ability to independently manage multiple design initiatives in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead user-centered design initiatives across web and mobile applications.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design solutions.
• Translate user research, business requirements, and analytics into intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborate with UX researchers, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Design and improve AI-enabled product experiences and digital interactions.
• Apply information architecture, interaction design, and responsive design principles.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Contribute to design systems, UX standards, reusable patterns, and accessibility guidelines.
• Manage multiple design workstreams while ensuring consistency across the overall product experience.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Advocate for human-centered design methodologies and continuous discovery practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in UX Design, Product Design, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and end-to-end UX processes.
• Hands-on experience with wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and visual design.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, FigJam, Axure, Penpot, or similar design tools.
• Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of information architecture, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
• Experience collaborating with product management, engineering, and research teams.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts through visual storytelling and presentations.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating UX design processes, design decisions, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Visual Communication, Digital Design, Product Design, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing AI-powered or AI-enabled product experiences.
• Background in Human Capital Management (HCM) or enterprise applications.
• Experience working on large-scale digital platforms and complex product ecosystems.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting design strategies.
• Knowledge of design systems, accessibility best practices, and continuous discovery frameworks.
• Experience in the education technology or learning management domain.

Interview Process

• 2–3 rounds of interviews.
• Initial one-on-one interview with the Hiring Manager.
• Panel interview with the product/design team.
• Additional discussion, if required.
• Open to onshore candidates (US) only.
• EST working hours preferred.
• Cloud PC is not available; candidates must have their own suitable setup.
• Travel is not expected to be frequent.
• Occasional onsite collaboration meetings may be required.
• Approximately 10 candidates will be shortlisted.
