Jim Taylor Auto Group in Louisiana seeks a dedicated inventory executive to own used inventory across Chevrolet in Rayville, Buick GMC in Monroe, and Ford in Ruston. You decide what to buy, how to price, and where to spend.

Base salary is $82,500, exempt and paid bi-weekly, with a company demo vehicle, business fuel, full benefits, and lucrative quarterly/aging bonuses. Target comp at 150+ units/month is $135,000–$160,000+.

Qualifications

• 3+ years buying, appraising, or managing used inventory at a franchise dealership.
• Experience using live-market pricing tools and data-driven pricing.
• Ability to defend pricing with quantitative reasoning and market data.

Responsibilities

• Acquire inventory across auction, wholesale, private party, trades, and service drive.
• Set daily market pricing on every unit with a structured price review cadence.
• Manage recon budgeting, approvals, and the clock from acquisition to frontline-ready.
• Maintain online listing accuracy, pricing integrity, and merchandising quality.
• Oversee inventory mix and transfers across all three stores.
• Attend weekly performance meetings with GMs and Sales Managers.
