Job summary

Jim Taylor Auto Group is seeking a skilled professional to own used inventory across three stores, determining what to buy, how to price, and how to achieve 150+ units per month. You will manage acquisitions at auctions (digital and physical), justify pricing, and drive online listing accuracy while coordinating transfers among stores.

Base salary is $82,500 with bi-weekly pay, full benefits, and a quarterly bonus structure tied to group volume and aging metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years buying, appraising, or managing used inventory at a franchise dealership.
• Ability to operate in a live-market pricing environment and defend pricing in two minutes.
• Experience with acquiring from auctions (digital and physical) and reconciling data.

Responsibilities

• Own acquisition across auction, wholesale, private party, trades, and the service drive.
• Set daily market pricing on every unit with a structured review cadence.
• Manage recon budgeting, approvals, and the timeline from acquisition to frontline-ready.
• Ensure online listing accuracy, pricing integrity, and merchandising quality.
• Coordinate inventory transfers across three stores and participate in weekly GM/Sales Manager meetings.
