Demant seeks a Senior Trade Compliance Manager to lead the US trade compliance program, ensuring adherence to US Customs regulations and optimizing duties. The role partners with Finance, Legal, and Operations to mitigate regulatory risks and improve processes.

The ideal candidate has a US Customs Broker License, 7+ years in trade compliance, and strong leadership and communication skills to advise executives and implement risk-based strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in trade compliance management.
• US Customs Broker License required.
• Strong knowledge of US customs regs, HTS classification and origin rules.
• Experience with CTPAT, audits, and CBP interactions.
• Experience supporting global/multi-region operations.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s US trade compliance program.
• Partner with internal teams to promote compliance and deliver trade compliance training.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Advise senior leadership on trade compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
• Lead CTPAT compliance program including risk assessments and audits.
• Ensure accurate HTSUS classification and origin determinations for imports.
• Manage ACE portal activity and CBP communications.
• Oversee customs entry reviews, audits, and corrective actions.
• Conduct internal audits and remediation of compliance gaps.
• Stay current on international trade developments and risk.
