PEI Group is seeking a Reporter in New York to cover the US private real estate market for PERE's equity-focused platforms and magazine, reporting to the Deputy Editor, Equity. You will help maintain relationships in the US market and serve as a visible editorial voice for the equity desk across pei-privaterealestate.com, PERE magazine, and PEI Group events.

Qualifications

• Formal journalism education or training is a must.
• Prior experience covering real estate or financial news is essential.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Strong networking with industry contacts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the editorial agenda for pei-privaterealestate.com and PERE magazine, coordinating with Editors to cover key news.
• Pitch, research and write off-diary analysis, features, and exclusive news for PERE and related publications.
• Break exclusive news on the US real estate market.
• Assist with sponsored coverage and maintain commentary on social channels.
• Write regular commentary for pei-privaterealestate.com, PERE magazine, and special issues.
• Participate in PERE events, on-stage or online, and industry events as needed.
