Job summary

Deloitte seeks an experienced US tax professional at Associate Director (Senior Manager) level to join its Private Client team in London or Cambridge. You will advise influential UHNW individuals and families on cross-border and domestic US tax matters, working with market leaders in a dynamic, hybrid setup.

You will lead technical delivery, manage client relationships, and develop junior staff while supporting growth of the UK private client practice.

Qualifications

• Experience as US private client tax advisor in private practice, law firm, or industry.
• Experience reviewing US individual income tax returns, either US-only or US/UK dual.
• Enrolled Agent (EA), US CPA, or US State bar admission.
• Experience with UHNW private clients and family offices.
• Strong technical skills across broad US private client tax areas.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and building strong relationships.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop others.

Responsibilities

• Assist Directors and Partners with client relationships, including technical delivery and project management.
• Lead preparation of high quality and technically accurate US tax advice for clients.
• Coach and mentor more junior team members to support development.
• Oversee timely preparation and submission of US tax returns.
• Identify opportunities on existing accounts and contribute to growth.
