Job summary

Baker Barrios Architects seeks an experienced urban designer/architect to develop conceptual urban framework plans, master plans, and design guidelines. You will analyze land-use proposals, evaluate regulatory conformance, and lead stakeholder interviews in a multidisciplinary environment.

Ten years of experience in architecture or urban design studio.

Responsibilities

Develop conceptual urban framework plans, master plans, design guidelines and reports.
Promote innovative thinking and new design approaches for land use and transportation.
Conduct field investigations and gather data on factors affecting land use.
Assess feasibility of land use proposals and identify necessary changes.
Engage in community outreach, charrettes, and stakeholder interviews.
Prepare professional urban design presentations for client and agency review.
