Job summary

Sure Power is seeking a UPS Maintenance & Service Technical Lead to deliver advanced technical expertise, troubleshooting support, and operational leadership across all UPS maintenance and service activities.

This role acts as the primary escalation point for technicians, customers, and partner organizations, guiding complex diagnostics, system evaluations, and corrective actions during outages or equipment failures.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical power design, power management, and data center operations.
• OEM certifications from Eaton, Vertiv, APC/Schneider, and Mitsubishi preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead technical investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the technical roadmap for UPS maintenance and service.
• Lead field service, testing, repairs, and commissioning activities.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to technicians as the SME for UPS.
• Coordinate report generation, parts sourcing, and technical support.
• Ensure OSHA, NFPA 70E, and manufacturer standards compliance across operations.
• Oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Stay current with UPS technologies and evaluate new tools and approaches.
