Job summary

Sure Power seeks a UPS Maintenance & Service Technical Lead to deliver expert troubleshooting, field service leadership, and strategic oversight of UPS maintenance programs. The role combines onsite work with remote support and cross‑functional collaboration to drive reliability and safety across all UPS systems.

The position emphasizes mentoring technicians, guiding complex diagnostics, and coordinating projects from planning through completion while staying current with evolving UPS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in electrical power design, power management, and facilities/data center operations.
• OEM certifications from manufacturers are advantageous and may be required for certain tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the technical roadmap for UPS maintenance and service.
• Align service capabilities with business objectives to ensure reliable UPS support.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to technicians as the subject matter expert.
• Perform onsite maintenance, testing, repairs, and commissioning as needed.
• Assist with report generation, parts sourcing, and technical support.
• Ensure ongoing training for technicians to strengthen troubleshooting skills.
• Coordinate field activities for installations or upgrades and project life cycles.
• Uphold safety standards, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
