ZAVTEK is seeking an experienced UPS Field Service Technician to support Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana regions. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on UPS systems and battery equipment, with travel up to ~20%.

This role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics and clear customer communication. The ideal candidate has hands-on UPS experience, the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing UPS systems and power equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment independently.
• Ability to meet customer site access requirements and travel up to 20%.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning for UPS systems and related equipment.
• Service UPS equipment from major manufacturers and associated battery systems.
• Diagnose electrical/electronic issues using schematics and test equipment.
• Complete service reports and document test results and actions taken.
• Communicate findings and recommended repairs to customers and internal teams.
