Job summary

Verto People Ltd seeks a Senior UPS Service Technician for field-based critical power support across commercial and industrial sites in Atlanta, GA. You’ll install, service and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, and power systems to ensure uptime.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years hands-on UPS experience, strong knowledge of electrical distribution, and hold a valid driver’s license for travel to customer sites. Data centers and hospital environments are common settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on UPS installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with single-phase and three-phase UPS systems
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, battery systems and electrical distribution
• Experience with electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power analyzers

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and maintain UPS systems across customer sites
• Diagnose and troubleshoot UPS, battery and power system faults
• Support emergency repairs and after-hours call-outs
• Carry out preventive maintenance to improve uptime and equipment life
• Perform load analysis, capacity planning and power quality testing
• Work with single-phase and three-phase UPS systems from 8kW to 1MW
