Job summary

Side is seeking a Senior Unreal Engine Engineer to help build a next-generation VR flight simulation in Unreal Engine 5. You will lead technical development across gameplay, interactions, physics, animation, and UI while mentoring peers.

You will collaborate with designers and artists to craft immersive experiences, optimize pipelines, and ensure robust, scalable systems for a production-grade project.

Qualifications

• Proven Senior Unreal Engine Engineer with a track record across game development areas.
• Expert-level Unreal Engine 5, C++, and Blueprint scripting.
• Experience developing gameplay, interactions, animation, UI, and core systems.
• Strong physics and simulation understanding for realistic player experiences.
• Experience asset integration, content pipelines, and performance-maintenance.
• Ability to lead technically, mentor engineers, and influence architecture.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable gameplay and game systems.
• Prototype interactions and shape virtual environments for VR experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and production to hit project goals.
