Job summary

OWT Global in Virginia Beach seeks an experienced Unmanned Systems (UxS) Technician – Level II to support hands-on design, fabrication, integration, testing, and maintenance of unmanned systems and components. The role requires translating CAD concepts into functional hardware from design through delivery.

The ideal candidate combines CAD, fabrication, electronics knowledge, and 3D printing/additive manufacturing experience, with a track record of delivering CAD‑based designs into completed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or technician level education with experience.
• Demonstrated CAD modeling, design for manufacturing, and fabrication experience.
• Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing and prototyping.
• Familiarity with BetaFlight, ArduPilot, PX4 or open‑architecture autopilot systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain CAD drawings, models, assemblies and mechanical designs.
• Translate concepts into manufacturable CAD models and prototypes.
• Fabricate, assemble, integrate, test, and deliver UxS hardware.
• Perform design reviews, prototyping, fabrication, testing, and final integration.
• Create manufacturing documentation with dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
