Job summary

Millbury Federal Credit Union seeks a Senior Universal Banker (III) to lead the branch team in delivering exceptional member service and driving consultative sales. You will oversee complex accounts, loans, and policy compliance while supporting management in staff coaching and community outreach.

The role requirements include at least 3 years of banking experience with supervisory responsibilities, a high school diploma, and preferred Associates or Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organized, detail oriented, flexible, able to effectively handle stress and multitask.
• Capable at working both independently and function as a team player.
• Proven ability to open complex accounts.
• Established proficiency to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Knowledge of Credit Union / banking products and regulations.
• General understanding of math, computers, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum 3 years’ banking experience with proven supervisory experience.
• High School diploma required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional member service skills both on the phone and in-person.
• Perform all types of account maintenance.
• Assess and interpret legal documents including powers of attorney, fiduciaries, trusts, and representative payees.
• Process, prepare, and close consumer loans.
• Coach staff to recognize and fulfill branch referrals and sales goals.
• Establish, develop, and retain relationships with members.
