Job summary

Greylock Federal Credit Union in Great Barrington is seeking a Universal Member Manager to lead daily branch operations, mentor staff, and oversee advanced lending and service duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a credit union or financial services environment with demonstrated expertise in lending, member service, account management, cash handling, and supervisory skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in financial services preferred.
• Strong leadership and peer coaching abilities; professional, empathetic communicator.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, informal coaching, coverage planning, and performance consistency; oversee the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Open various accounts, resolve business/fiduciary accounts, wires, deceased member processing, fraud/dispute cases, and account exceptions; ensure documentation quality.
• Maintain cash drawer, cash recycler trained, vault certified; oversee cash handling procedures and policy; manage teller line operations and coverage.
• Maintain lending authority; interview, originate, and close home equity applications; review disclosures and documentation; coordinate pipeline and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, confidentiality, and audit readiness; provide need-based recommendations and route to internal specialists as applicable.
• Lead annual branch audit activities and surprise cash audits; document procedures per audit plans.
• Represent Greylock in community and professional forums to expand visibility and brand awareness.
