Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Union Operating Engineer to oversee operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a designated property. You will ensure safe, efficient performance and respond to service requests.

The role requires 4–5 years of related experience, a high school diploma or trade credential, and a Journeyman or EPA Universal license, with the Engineering and Technical Services team focusing on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Journeyman or EPA Universal License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building.
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, etc.
• Inspect engine room equipment, pumps, generators, and electrical rooms.
• Replace lamps and signage; document and report activities to supervisor.
• Respond to emergencies and complete safety trainings as scheduled.
