Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Union Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on major projects in the Madison area. You will manage on-site construction, coordinate union trades, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality on multi-million-dollar initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of field leadership, proven experience with union trades, and a track record on $10M+ projects. This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000–$150,000 plus union benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction field leadership experience.
• Experience working with union trades.
• Background as Lead Superintendent or Superintendent on $10M+ projects.
• Experience with complex commercial, civic, education, infrastructure, or industrial construction.
• Strong scheduling and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Commitment to jobsite safety and craftsmanship.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction operations.
• Manage and coordinate union subcontractors and craft labor.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and sequencing.
• Enforce jobsite safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and contract documents.
• Maintain detailed daily reports and field documentation.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on cost, schedule, and logistics.
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues before they impact the schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
