Job summary

American Operations Corporation seeks a UC/Voice Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise voice solutions for 66 ABG/SC and customers under Core Services. You will manage voice environments, ensure capacity and security, and troubleshoot SIP sessions across networks.

Experience with Avaya Aura, SBCs, and related tools is required, along with DoD security clearance and a bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field. This role supports 24/7 operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with 8–12 years Unified Communications experience; degree substitution available.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification is required.
• Extensive hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Avaya Aura suite.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise voice and telephony solutions.
• Plan voice environments focusing on capacity, performance, reliability, and security.
• Coordinate with stakeholders; develop/update voice line cut-sheets for capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot SIP-based sessions across internal and external networks.
• Maintain detailed records and operational procedures per military/DoD processes.
