Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ten (10) or more years related work experience.
• Extensive property and casualty insurance underwriting experience.
• CPCU license
• Certificate of General Insurance (INS)
• Associate in Insurance Production (AIP)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of underwriters to deliver profitable Commercial Lines risk selection.
• Direct team operations, mentor managers and staff, and share risk assessment best practices.
• Align underwriting strategy with portfolio growth goals and performance targets.
• Enhance agency performance communication to support business strategy.
• Influence stakeholder decisions and guide product review and training initiatives.
• Manage budgeted resources and ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Support diversity, inclusion, and a positive culture within the team.
• Occasional travel of approximately 15-20% per year.
