Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an underwriting team for A&H to ensure risk quality and proper insurance to value.
• Drive standardization of specialty underwriting by defining risk assessment parameters and quality service standards.
• Foster collaboration to grow the business by communicating with peers and guiding portfolio growth initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement by reviewing loss ratio reports, researching market trends, and implementing innovative underwriting strategies.
• Build and maintain internal and external relationships through training and credibility in risk decisions.
• Develop sustainable underwriting operations for specialty lines aligned with long-range growth objectives.
• Manage budgeted resources by forecasting costs and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
