Job summary

Pathward seeks a data analytics professional to identify and interpret insights from diverse data sources, informing underwriting strategy and risk-based decision making. You will build and refine reports, using SAS/SQL and emerging tools to improve profitability within a lending platform.

The role collaborates with data science, underwriting, and operations teams to implement models, forecast performance, and support ad hoc analyses as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Typically, 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAS, and SQL.
• Experience with Python, Snowflake, Amazon S3, and SageMaker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and interpret insights from various data sources and communicate findings to management.
• Assist in underwriting strategy by optimizing risk-based profit and loss modeling within a proprietary lending platform.
• Develop reports based on performance data and identify patterns of behavior.
• Developing and refining reports with data analytics, underwriting, and operations teams.
• Collaborate with vendors, data science, and technology teams to implement new strategies and models.
