Job summary

Everest Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Auto to build and manage a profitable E&S Commercial Auto portfolio across the Southeast Region. This role can be based in Southeast offices or remotely for highly qualified candidates.

You will underwrite new and renewal business, develop broker relationships, and collaborate with multiple internal teams to drive profitability and growth while maintaining underwriting discipline.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in commercial insurance underwriting.
• Strong expertise in Commercial Auto underwriting within E&S or wholesale markets.
• Experience underwriting transportation, contractor auto, trucking or auto-focused casualty risks.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal E&S Commercial Auto business within the Southeast region.
• Develop and maintain a profitable book of business and broker relationships.
• Evaluate risk, pricing, terms and coverage to meet profitability goals.
• Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Product and Distribution teams.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and referral processes.
