Job summary

Everest Insurance Company seeks a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Auto for its Wholesale Casualty team. You will build and manage a profitable E&S Commercial Auto portfolio across the Southeast region, with flexibility to base in regional offices or work remotely within the Southeast area.

The role requires 5–7+ years of underwriting experience, strong expertise in Commercial Auto, and experience with transportation, contractor auto, trucking or auto‑focused casualty risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience.
• Expertise in Commercial Auto underwriting within E&S or wholesale markets.
• Understanding of transportation and auto liability exposures and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal E&S Commercial Auto business including fleet, public, contractor and transportation exposures.
• Evaluate risk, pricing adequacy, terms, and coverage structures to meet profitability goals.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive Everest Evolution brand awareness.
