Qualifications

• 10+ years of underwriting or credit risk experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; advanced degree preferred.
• Advanced analytical skills to read financial statements and projections.
• Knowledge of intermediate accounting and credit underwriting processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bankers and Lending Advisors in underwriting requests for credit extensions.
• Perform detailed financial analysis of wealth clients and institutions.
• Perform detailed collateral analysis of Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and other investments.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reviews to track loan covenants.
• Build understanding of Citi products within Wealth Credit Management.
• Coordinate with bankers on client calls and site visits.
• Conduct industry and geographic research and due diligence.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training to junior officers in application processing, credit analysis, and loan closing.
• Assist team manager with workflow distribution and process improvements.
