Job summary

CRC Group is a leading, independent pure-play brokerage and underwriting specialty insurance distributor. The Underwriter III will provide advanced administrative and technical support to underwriters, validating submissions and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.

This remote role in Alabama combines detail-oriented processing with coordination across underwriters, brokers and internal teams to issue quotes, binders and policy documents in a timely, accurate manner.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in insurance operations or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in underwriting support or insurance operations.
• Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance operations.
• Proficiency in data entry and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate policy documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation and issuance of quotes, binders, and policy documents.
• Coordinate with underwriters, brokers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in underwriting systems.
• Monitor and track application and renewal processes for timely completion.
• Support compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
