Job summary

Biz2Credit Inc is seeking an experienced Underwriter for our Miami and NYC offices. You will perform full cycle underwriting, analyzing financial statements and credit data for small business loan applications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of underwriting/credit analysis experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of underwriting or credit analysis experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and documentation to determine eligibility and creditworthiness.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess risk.
• Perform full cycle underwriting for assigned small business financing.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to identify red flags and mitigate risk.
