Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5–3+ years of progressive underwriting experience.
• Degree in Business or equivalent typically required.
• CPCU or professional designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites new and renewal business by assessing risk quality, premium, and terms.
• Develops and maintains relationships with agents and brokers to grow business.
• Manages portfolio performance, growth, and diversification.
• Documents underwriting decisions clearly and thoroughly to reflect sound judgment.
• Provides coaching to underwriters and account analysts.
