The Cargo/Ocean Marine Underwriter plays a critical role in evaluating, pricing, and managing risks associated with domestic and international cargo shipments. This position supports profitable growth of the marine portfolio by applying sound underwriting judgment, building strong broker relationships, and staying ahead of global trade and logistics trends.**Key Responsibilities**Ensure underwriting files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal standards and regulatory requirements.Experience underwriting cargo, ocean marine, or related commercial P&C lines.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risks and make sound decisions.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to build and maintain productive broker relationships.Proficiency with underwriting systems, rating tools, and Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of international trade, logistics, and maritime operations.**Salary:** he base pay range is $110,000.00 - 150,000.00.
