Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking a Senior Underwriter for our Entertainment team in New York City. The role blends hybrid work from NYC with remote options on the East Coast, to underwrite complex entertainment risks and guide portfolio performance.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of entertainment underwriting, a Bachelor’s degree, and CPCU/AINS if possible. Join a collaborative team supporting growth, risk control, and client service while advancing underwriter leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant field.
• 3–5 years in Entertainment or Middle Market underwriting.
• CPCU or AINS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex risks for entertainment and middle market accounts.
• Review applications and determine acceptance based on underwriting rules and laws.
• Coach/mentor newer underwriters and assistants as needed.
• Develop relationships with producers and agents to support growth and profitability.
• Monitor and adjust portfolios to improve underwriting results and risk selection.
