Job summary

Everest Evolution, the Wholesale-Exclusive arm of Everest Evolution, is seeking a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Auto to manage a profitable E&S portfolio across the Southeast. This role can be based in Southeast offices or remote within the region.

You will underwrite new and renewal Commercial Auto business, build broker relationships, monitor market trends, and collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, and Distribution teams to drive profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience.
• Strong expertise in Commercial Auto underwriting in E&S or wholesale markets.
• Experience underwriting transportation, contractor auto, trucking, or auto-focused casualty risks.
• Proven success managing broker relationships and generating new business.
• Designations such as CPCU, ASLI, AU, ARM or similar are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal E&S Commercial Auto business, including fleet, public auto, contractor auto, transportation, and other complex vehicle-related exposures.
• Develop and maintain a profitable book of business within the Southeast Region.
• Build strong relationships with wholesale broker partners and become a trusted market resource.
• Evaluate risk exposures, pricing adequacy, terms, and coverage structures to achieve profitability goals.
• Execute underwriting strategies aligned with regional growth objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive brand awareness for Everest Evolution.
• Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Product, and Distribution teams.
