Responsibilities:

• Seek out new account opportunities in line with company goals.
• Maintain a book of renewal business.
• Provide excellent service and resolve issues promptly.
• Mentor support staff and foster a supportive team environment.
• Analyze, interpret, and implement underwriting goals and changes.
• Recommend underwriting guidelines to improve results.
• Prepare reports and results for leadership.
• Develop underwriting policies for consistency and risk analysis.
• Assist with underwriting audits and carrier recommendations.
• Monitor factors impacting underwriting.
• Manage broker relations via phone, email, and in person.
• Ensure service level expectations are met or exceeded.
• Oversee underwriting reports.
• Understand WC state rules, NCCI Manual rules, and filings.
• Research industry conditions and competitor strategies.
• Assist with sales forecasts, goals, and attend industry conferences.
• Promote the company's reputation as a brand ambassador.
