Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Underwriter/Account Manager in the Fidelity/Crime division. The role covers underwriting, managing a profitable book, and building broker relationships across Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and other listed cities.

Travel up to 30% is expected to visit producers and insureds. Qualified candidates hold a business-related bachelor's degree with 5–10+ years in underwriting or related insurance fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
• 5–10+ years in underwriting/insurance, with fidelity/crime and/or management liability preferred.
• Proven ability to produce and manage a profitable underwriting book.
• Strong network of agency/brokerage relationships.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills; organized with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite moderately to complex risks and determine pricing/coverage within authority.
• Manage a profitable book, balancing risk, pricing, and customer retention.
• Develop relationships with agents, insureds, and colleagues to drive growth.
• Execute territory marketing and agency visits to support profitability.
• Analyze submissions, financials, loss data, and surveys for decisions.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and provide clear communication.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, regulations, and policies.
