About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity with our Client, a Transactional Risk Insurer. Our client is seeking an experienced M&A/Transactional Risk Underwriter with experience working with Reps & Warranties to join their team in New York. Our client is a leader in the North American Transactional Risk space, looking to expand their established team.

This is an exciting opportunity for commercially minded M&A professionals to utilise their expertise in an entrepreneurial and collaborative setting, joining a rapidly growing sector of Insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, brokers, and third parties
• Utilise knowledge surrounding M&A issues in order to effectively evaluate and underwrite Transactional Risks
• Develop strong relationships with markets and with market stakeholders
• Manage assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required
• Deliver a personal performance that contributes towards the Company achieving its objectives
• Ensure all dealings are carried out with integrity and professionalism

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience, ideally within the legal or insurance sectors.
• A law degree is required, providing a strong foundation for understanding and interpreting complex insurance contracts.
• Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to risk evaluation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
